People in business need to be able to profitably grow their business. That particularly includes providing desirable products and services at competitive prices, being known as a respectable member of the community, and keeping their costs down.
The purpose of the Universal City North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is to help in all three of those categories. Our mixers and other events give our members the great opportunity to meet and get to be known by other people. Because of the business diversity of our membership, and the chamber’s affiliation with other organizations such as the United Chambers of Commerce, the Economic Alliance, and the Valley Economic Development Center our members have the opportunity to learn what will help their businesses grow.
Taxes, fees, and government regulations are intrinsic in business operations, and having a major impact on profitability. The Universal City North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has excellent communication, directly and through the United Chambers of Commerce and the Business Federation of Los Angeles County (BizFed) with local, state, and federal elected officials. Through meeting with, and getting to be known by the officials our members are able to effectively express the effect of the taxes, fees, and regulations, and be informed of what the legislators are working on. That communication helps our members reduce some of those costs.
Only chambers of commerce provide businesses with such a great combination of needed benefits.
