The Universal City North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is offering a Theater and Arts Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. 

DEADLINE is March 15, 2011! 

Applicants must:

• Be between the ages of 16-24 yrs old.
  
• Demonstrate some financial need.
  
• Compose a 2-3 page paper, double spaced, 10 inch Arial font on why you deserve this scholarship (may include sample art).
  
• Have a letter of recommendation from a current or former art teacher.
  
• Attend an art and/or theater based school/class in the Universal City/North Hollywood area.

Honorary Mayor Rip Taylor and Honorary Entertainment Empresario Jaime Monroy are veteran comedians and TV personalities who pledge to help bring more top of mind awareness to the Chamber and the Community, as well as attract Business to the area and to the Chamber through the Entertainment Industry.

The Chamber is working to improve business in the area. Please submit our Parking Meter Survey to track failed parking meters in front of your establishment so that we may have leverage with the City to rectify this.
